Tech Talk Speedway Motors Steering Columns

Add Article To List

Speedway Motors makes two types of steering columns; one with a shifter on the column and one without. They come in different lengths from 30 to 33 inches, all with a five-inch tilt. Also, they will have hazard lights and blinkers. These columns are pretty much universal and will most likely fit in any car.

If you aren’t sure which size you need, it’s very easy to measure. Start from the spline shaft and measure to the rounded part of the double D. Along with the steering column, make sure to pick up a steering wheel. The steering wheels featured in the video are the 14-inch, banjo style, aluminum steering wheels. Be sure to choose the right steering wheel adaptor.
