SEMA 2021: The Chip Foose Experience
At this year's SEMA show, an amazing retrospective of Chip Foose's work is front and center in the North Hall. Reportedly the largest collection of Foose vehicles ever to be assembled, there are 20 cars that span his career from the Boyd Coddington days, through Overhaulin' and beyond. The result is an impressive display that shows how the prolific and talented Foose became a household name.
The experience of being there, surrounded by all of the amazing cars, is overwhelming. We hope that the photos below will be the next best thing.

The "P-32" is a clever mashup of a '32 roadster and a WW2 fighter.
It's hard to improve on an E-series Jaguar, but Foose did it.
The "Hemisfear" features a Hemi in the rear and was part of the evolution of the Prowler.
The "Sniper".is based on an unlikely '54 Belvedere.
The "EldoRod" goes back to the Boyd era.
The "Impression" is based on a '36-'37 Roadster. It won the Ridler in 2005 and the AMBR in 2006, and it's still a knockout.
The "Cool Air" '54 Chevy hardtop. We love this car.
Mike Malone's '57 Bel Air convertible.
The "Boyd Air".
The "Stallion" '34 Ford coupe was the 2003 Ridler winner.
The '35 Chevy "Grandmaster" won the Ridler in '02. Amazing that some of these builds are 20 years old (or older). They have aged very well.
We loved this old-school '32 5-window.
The "Black Bow Tie" '35 Chevy phaeton.
This car won the AMBR in '96 as the "Boydster II", then again in its current form as the "0032" in 2000.
"Madam X" is based on a '39 Cadillac 60 Special.
'69 Camaro restomod.
The "Imposter" is a mashup between a late model Corvette and a '65 Impala.
The '33 Ford "Keystone Coupe".
Last, but certainly not least, the FD-100, famously built by Foose's crew behind his back on Overhaulin'.
