Using Koul Tools For Easy AN Hose Assembly

Add Article To List

Since the invention of stainless braided rubber hose, racers and hot rodders have been fighting the problem of installing it into the AN fitting socket. The stainless braid serves to protect the rubber line and increase it's operating pressure range, but it can be a nightmare to work with. If you're lucky and get a clean cut on the end of that hose, you might get it into the AN socket. Most of the time, however, the stainless braid frays at the hose end...and the battle begins. It's not only time consuming, it can get bloody.

Koul Tools has developed a simple solution to this problem. The Koul Tool is a small, coposite plastic unit that features a funnel which helps guide the frayed hose end into your AN fittings. Simply place the socket of your AN fitting into the Koul Tool capsule, place it in a shop vise and slide the hose into the tool while twisting it back and forth. The entire process takes only 10 seconds. The money you save in Band Aids will pay for the Koul Tools.

Watch the video below to see how easy it is to install AN fittings onto braided hose with Koul Tools:

Koul Tools come in three different kits, perfectly packaged to fit your needs. Each kit includes instructions and a hard plastic case for convenient storage.

The Small Kit covers hose sizes -4 AN, -6 AN and -8 AN

The Hot Rod Kit covers hose sizes -6 AN, -8 AN and -10 AN
