Tech Talk: Double Pass Radiator
Kevin changes from a stock style down flow radiator in his '54 Bel Air with a big block chevy, to a double pass cross flow radiator. There are a few advantages of a double pass radiator including better cooling, more fluid capacity, and 5-20 degree drop in temperatures, which are covered in the video.
The correct fan/shroud to use for this setup is the style 90 Ultimate Cooling Fan. It's important to note that a few modifications will have to be made to make the switch such as the radiator hose configuration, radiator mounts and clearance.
