Speedway Motors to Launch Season 2: “What Moves You” Podcast
(Lincoln, Neb. May 27, 2021) Speedway Motors, a manufacturer, retailer and distributor of high-quality automotive parts and racing products, announced today Season 2 of their “What Moves You” podcast will launch on June 1.
The "What Moves You" podcast tells the stories behind cars and the people who build and drive them. While celebrating craftsmanship, ingenuity, and the long tradition of building cars, “What Moves You” talks to fascinating people who have left their mark on car culture. Sometimes that’s a big name everyone knows, other times it’s an unsung local hero. Every guest brings inspiring knowledge, experience and passion that reminds us why we love cars in the first place.
“Every car, builder and driver has a story. Season 1 of the ‘What Moves You’ podcast successfully captured a handful of those stories to share with our listeners,” said Betsy Grindlay Director of Marketing and People Operations at Speedway Motors.
Hosted by Joe McCollough Season 1 included interviews with experts like Dave Shuten, Brian Brennan, Bob Mays and Robby Unser. The first 10 episodes featured topics ranging from Discovery Channel’s Car Kings to 140mph crashes, Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed, and everything in between.
“We look forward to diving even deeper in Season 2 to capture that passion for building and driving your dream,” Grindlay added.
Season 2 will launch June 1 with new episodes released every other week. The line-up for Season 2 includes guests like racing legend Mary Pozzi, Bonneville innovators John MacKichan and Tim Schulz, special guests from Car Masters: Rust to Riches among others.
