Gassin' a '67 Impala

A customer wrote in talking about turning his 1967 Chevy Impala into a gasser. He wanted to know if we could help. Tech John W. lays out a couple options

Hi, I've got an urge to turn my 1967 Chevy Impala into a gasser. I'm looking for a straight axle kit to slide under the front end for that "correct" stance. Can you help?

Hi, you inquired about a gasser axle kit for your 67 Impala. With the width of the car you will likely need to use the 50" axle kit number 9103550, which gives you a 58 1/4" hub to hub where the wheels will bolt on. You can take some basic measurements between the wheel/tire combo you are planning on using to see if this is acceptable then we can vary the width if necessary. Feel free to visit us on the web at www.speedwaymotors.com or call 1-800-979-0122 with questions or to place an order. Let me know if we can be of further assistance and thanks again for shopping Speedway Motors
