Copper & GraphTite Gasket Tips

Copper consists of two outer sheets of a generously thick .010” copper and a low-density graphite “filler” sheet. Install using a spray-on sealant like** K&W Copper Coat **or Permatex Copper Spray-A-Gasket. Always re-torque. Don’t take shortcuts!

GraphTite consists of Kevlar-reinforced graphite facing material mechanically bonded to both sides of a perforated steel core. Rated to a temperature of 1400° F. Steel fire rings are installed in the combustion chamber areas of the gasket.

Install using a spray-on sealant like K&W Copper Coat or Permatex Copper Spray-A-Gasket. Always re-torque. Don’t take shortcuts!
