Speedway Motors Kicks Off 2024 Race Season

Speedway Motors announced today they will kick off the 2024 race season Feb. 5-11 with discounts and racing product guides to help customers perform their best at the track.

“This year we are kicking off race season with discounts to help racers gear up for the season,” said Clay Smith President and Owner of Speedway Motors. February 5-11 the more you spend the more you’ll save--$50 off $500, $75 off $750 and $100 off $1,000.

“For over 70 years we’ve helped racers win while keeping racing safe, fun and affordable,” Smith added.

Safety is of the utmost importance in racing and Speedway Motors has put together a number of safety product guides which are available through their blog, The Toolbox to help customers choose the right safety equipment including: How to Choose a Racing Suit, How to Choose Racing Gloves, How to Choose a Racing Harness, among other topics.

A lot goes into getting a sprint car ready for a race, Speedway Motors joined employee Riley Fricke as he helped prepare Alex Davenport’s 305 sprint car for an evening of racing.

Fricke is the Crew Chief on the 25A Alex Davenport Racing 305 Sprint Car, and he also works as a Sales Agent at Speedway Motors. Fricke got into racing thanks to his dad, Tim, who also works at Speedway Motors as a Sprint Car Tech.

They also spent a race day with another employee Tyler Perry Crew Chief for RaceSaver Sprint Car Owner and Driver Trevor Grossenbacher, to see all the work and excitement that goes into preparing a Sprint Car for the Race and seeing it in action. In addition to his role as Trevor’s crew chief, Tyler also works for Speedway Motors as a Wholesale Account Manager.
