Racing is expensive. Often, when it comes time to outfit yourself and your car with safety equipment, your racing budget is already hurting from engine rebuilds, new tires, and other updates to the racecar. But we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, don’t skimp on the safety equipment! The best car in the world is no good if you’re hurt and can’t drive it. So, with all of this in mind, Speedway Motors is constantly working to bring you the best safety equipment at a price that makes it attainable for the average racer. Our new harnesses are a great example of what we’re talking about here.

New Cam Lock Harnesses

When you think “cam lock,” often big dollar signs accompany that thought. But we’re out to change that with our new cam lock harnesses. And it’s not just a “one size fits all” deal. These are available in different colors and a couple different configurations. Also new to the Speedway Motors line of harnesses are models that feature 2-inch shoulder belts to work better with HANS devices. All are 5-point and made from high quality nylon webbing that is double stitched to make them stronger.

Here’s a breakdown of the new cam lock belts:

New Latch and Link Harnesses

If you prefer the classic latch and link style belts, we also offer a new Elite Series version with 2-inch shoulder belts for HANS use:

We’ve also added a HANS shoulder belt option to our regular line of 5 point latch and link harnesses, offering an even more affordable HANS option:

All the above harnesses come with hardware that allows them to be installed in either a wrap-around configuration or bolt-in. If you prefer clip-in belts, there’s a kit for that as well.

Buying a quality racing harness doesn't have to break the bank, and Speedway Motors has got your back with these new products. Still have questions? There’s a lot to consider when it comes time to buy belts for your race car. For more helpful information, check out our Racing Harness Guide!
