Built With Speedway Motors: Ashley's Monte Carlo Stock Car

Jon sent us this cool story about his girlfriend Ashley's race car. It's a great example of family and friends coming together to make racing dreams come true...

"Three years ago we built this dirt track car for my girlfriend, Ashley. She’s wanted to race since she was a little girl, so me and her family and friends came together and built this car for her.

We pretty much tore it down to the chassis and started from there, building and re-doing bunch of things. When she got the car it was not in very good shape. The welds were bad and there was a lot of bent stuff! Her brother did most of the chassis work. We got a new engine built for her this year and there is a good amount of Speedway Motors parts on the car like spindles, air cleaner, and some other electronics. She has top of the line equipment and we pretty much built it from the frame up.

She has been blessed with rookie of the year honors in her very first year, then last year got 4th in points and as of right now we are hanging around the top 5. She has come a long way since starting three years ago.

The racing world is my peace. It’s where I get away from the real world and enjoy myself at the racetrack helping Ashley. Special thanks to all her fans and sponsors and family that have helped put this ride together and have helped us!"
