Best Fords at SEMA 2022
Ford might not have had their previously enormous presence at SEMA in 2022, but that doesn't mean that there weren't some incredible cars on hand wearing a Blue Oval. Here is a gallery of a few of our favorites...
Hollywood Hot Rods' incredible Gauntt Coupe is a total knockout. The car is literally covered in clever, handmade, vintage race-inspired details throughout.
This Kindig-built Pantera was packing Cammer power.
That is just so cool.
This longbed Bumpside looked clean and unassuming, but was packing a 700 horse Coyote under the hood.
Gray Baskerville's famous "rodney" was parked outside the Hot Rod Magazine booth to celebrate their 75th anniversary.
This wild widebody, mid-engine Mustang was built on the YouTube channel B is for Build. It's more insane in person than the pictures can express.
Scott Birdsall's "Old Smokey" is a Pike's Peak veteran F1 with wild diesel power.
We've watched this truck evolve over the years, and the fabrication and tidy packaging in the well patina'd truck is always incredible.
Yes, that's a Model A Tudor with an electric motor. The car has great proportions, regardless of how you feel about the choice of powerplant.
In a sea of wildly modified cars, a beautifully restored Boss 302 reminded everyone that these cars were pretty darn good looking from the factory.
This super slammed Model A was in a stereo company's booth, and believe it or not was fitted with a high-end audio system.
One of the few remaining Eleanor Mustangs from Gone in 60 Seconds was on hand and very cool to see for all of us who have watched the movie way too many times.
Who says you can't apply a 90's minitruck vibe to a brand new Maverick? We think it's cool, down to the era-perfect billet wheels.
This '31 roadster pickup had 312 Mercury power.
Dusold Designs' twin-turbo '65 fastback was one of our favorites. There's YouTube footage out there of this thing running around the track and it sounds amazing.
The workmanship on this flatty-powered '32 lakes racer was impeccable.
This Falcon has a Coyote shoved under the hood, but the thing that really got us was the paint. The subtle blue seems to glow under the lights.
Ringbrothers debuted several cars at this year's SEMA. Their '69 Sports Roof is powered by a Coyote backed to a six-speed.
More to come from SEMA 2022, so stay tuned!
