Holley LS Fest East 2026

Add Article To List

Holley LS Fest is one of our favorite events, and LS Fest East, which happens every September at Beech Bend Raceway Park, may just be our favorite LS Fest. Holley puts on its travelling circus in celebration of all things Gen III-and-up GM all over the country, but the OG event just up the road from Holley’s Bowling Green, KY headquarters has all the right things going for it. Scenic venue? Check. Drag racing, drifting, autocross, and car show, all within a few paces? Check.

Below are a few of our favorite shots from LS Fest East 2026. Photos can’t completely convey the smell of tire smoke, race gas, and general mayhem that runs well after the sun goes down. We recommend checking out the event in person next year if you can swing it.

The gates at LS Fest are open to anything, so long as it’s powered by and LS or LT engine.
The Porsche 944 pictured above houses this tidy LS swap, likely more than doubling the power provided by it’s original 4-cylinder.
The recipe for a competitive autocrosser can start with just about any platform. This squarebody S10 Blazer appears to be on an AWD chassis. Bonus points for the cargo box on the roof.
On the other end of the spectrum is this ultra-clean ’67 Blazer out pounding the autocross.
We’re going to call this a battle Beetle. This twin-turbo, gullwing’d and spoiler’d creation appears to be based on a Super Beetle.
There’s no shortage of JDM cars at LS Fest, the prerequisite to entry of course being the addition of American V8 muscle under the hood.
The party on the dragstrip goes on into the night to get all of the classes through. This 3rd-gen Camaro was super-clean.
It’s not all late models and imports. Good old American Muscle is always well represented at LS Fest too. This ’69 Camaro was out mixing it up on the dragstrip.
We’ve always loved the 300ZX, and this one now has the power to match the sporty looks of Nissan’s 90’s Z-car.
We loved this very nice C10 drag truck.
Here’s another LS-swapped 944. This one was competing on the autocross.
S10 trucks are common at LS Fest. It makes perfect sense; take the anemic 4-banger or V6 out of a small and lightweight truck and replace it with an LS to create a hot rod with room to hauls parts around.
Oh boy do we love this ’55, wheelie bars and all. The old-school look hides the modern power under the hood.
If you want to see a wheelstanding C4 Corvette, look no further than LS Fest! This thing hung the hoops almost to the 60-foot lights.
