Jerad Flemming was born into a large Wisconsin family, deep into car culture and circle track racing. He has always been known as a jack of all trades and enjoys doing pretty much anything and everything you can on a car. His specialties are suspension systems such as air ride and coil over setups. Jared considers himself a picky, detailed-oriented electronics guy who loves nothing more than creating a crown jewel of an engine bay.

Leading up to today, Jerad served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic from 1992 to 2012. While stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in California, he found himself close to some of the biggest names in hot rodding, including Boyd Coddington, Chip Foose, and Gene Winfield. After retiring from the Air Force, he spent seven years working as a Power Generation Engineering Technician. In January 2020, he joined Speedway Motors as a Customer Experience Auto Tech at the company's Tolleson, Arizona, location.

When he's not working, Jerad spends a lot of time at local car shows, especially around the West Valley of Phoenix. His eye for detail earned him a Staff Pick award at the 2009 Goodguys Southwest Nationals for his 1961 Ford Country Sedan wagon, built during the early days of the patina-style bagged wagon trend. He also spent many years as one of the leaders of the White Tanks Classics & Customs Car Club in Buckeye, Arizona.

One of Jerad’s favorite automotive memories goes all the way back to when he was six years old. At a World of Wheels event at the Milwaukee Mile, he met legendary IndyCar driver Johnny Rutherford. The experience became unforgettable when Rutherford picked him up and placed him in the driver's seat of his race car. For a kid who loved cars, it didn’t get much better than that.

Jerad has owned more cars than can be mentioned, but some of his favorites include:

1950 Hudson Commodore 8 (2000)

1954 Chevy Be lair “Tin Woody” (2003)

1972 Pro Street Chevelle that made an appearance on Speed Channel's Pass Time (2006)

1961 Ford Country Sedan (2009)

1927 Ford “T” Roadster P/U (2013)

1954 Ford Customline (2015)

1951 Ford F1 Pickup (2018)

1989 Nissan PAO (2024)
