Team Speedway to Showcase G-Comp Suspension at Sturgis Camaro Rally, Stop at Legend Suspensions

Team Speedway, sponsored by Speedway Motors, announced today they will showcase their G-Comp line of suspension at the Sturgis Camaro Rally on June 23-26. Returning to its competitive racing roots Speedway Motors began sponsoring Team Speedway in 2014 as a test bed for product performance.

Team Speedway regularly puts Speedway Motors parts to the test on the track running a ’70 Camaro, ’86 Corvette, ’65 Nova, and ’67 Camaro. They will showcase their G-Comp line of suspension at the Sturgis Camaro Rally with their ’67 and ’70 Camaro driven by Robby Unser.

The ’67 Camaro sports a G-Comp Unser Edition Front Suspension Kit with a highly modified independent rear suspension and runs 355 30 19 Viper ACR rubber all around.

The ’70 Camaro showcases Speedway Motors G-Comp 1970-81 Camaro/Firebird Torque Arm Rear Suspension Kit, was fitted with an Unser Edition Front Suspension Kit, and sports a 427 LS7 using an RHS block and heads built by Speedway Motors Racing Engines.

They will be showcasing these parts at their booth and on the autocross track throughout the Rally. Unser who is no stranger to racing, hailing from one of America’s most storied racing families, will be on hand to sign autographs. He boasts the 1987 World Hill Climb Champion and 1989 American Indy Car Series Champion titles and was named IRL Rookie of the Year in 1998. He has raced a wide range of classes at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning an unprecedented 9 times. Unser has also competed twice at the Indianapolis 500 and is Team Speedways seasoned Nova expert after testing out the sleeper car in 2014. In 2017 he was named Goodguys AutoCrosser of the Year.

Team Speedway also plans to make a stop at Legend Suspensions who joined Speedway Motors' group of companies in 2019.
