Mike Earley

Mike Earley has always found himself tinkering if he’s got free time, he’ll end up trying to fix something that isn’t broken before he’ll sit still. When he first saw a Chevelle with open headers roll past at the car show, he had to get his hands on one. When he did, he vowed to tear it down and rebuild it better in the two years he had left in high school.

Since those early days, Mike’s Chevelle has seen a lot of road and a couple engines. The first was a 283 he and his dad restored together. After it threw a rod through the oil pan, Mike dropped in an LS for reliability and power.

20 years later, Mike has held onto the Chevelle, his first automotive love. He’ll never sell it. Between projects, he’s also married with three kids and a business.

Nick Hoesing and Jason Holland

Nick and Jason have a pair of neat Model A hot rods that will be featured inside our next street rod catalog. These guys use their cars, and both of them have about 50,000 miles on them. They talk to us about what it takes to build a hot rod at home, then flog it on the dragstrip and over the road to events all over the country.
