Curt is a longtime automotive journalist, marketing professional, and diehard hot rod and custom car enthusiast. He’s the Director of Marketing at Winters Performance, manufacturers of quick change rear ends and racing driveline components. There, he’s involved with everything from designing advertising and collateral materials to creating technical and promotional videos, writing and producing commercials, managing the company’s social media channels, and working on the development and marketing of new products for the hot rod and racing market.
Prior to joining Winters, Curt spent a decade as managing editor of The Rodder’s Journal. In addition to TRJ, his work has appeared in Modern Rodding, Rodding USA, Car Kulture Deluxe, Hop Up, Baltimore Magazine and The Surfer’s Journal. He also penned the TRJ-published book Scrapbook, an expansive hardbound volume on the history of rodding, customizing and racing in the U.S. and Canada. In his personal garage is a chopped, tail dragging 1941 Buick custom project, a collection of vintage signs and automotive ephemera, a few too many Buick OHV straight-eights, and a 331-inch Cadillac he hopes to one day plant between a set of ’32 Ford rails.
