Return PolicyRace your Ford-powered Modified or Late Model to the finish line with the exclusive Crate Buster Ford 347 crate engine fromSpeedway Motors Racing Engines! The Crate Buster 347 is a perfect option for Blue Oval fans who want to compete in classes where the GM 604 crate engine is used. It provides significantly more power than the 604 crate because the powerband is specifically tailored to the IMCA 7800 RPM rule, while weighing within 10 pounds of the GM 604.
Crate Buster small block Ford engines are assembled and dyno tested by our team of experienced professionals. Each crate engine starts with a DART SHP Ford 302 block that is filled with a forged rotating assembly. They come complete fromintake manifold to oil pan, including the distributor. The piston rings and camshaft are then broke in on a computerized dyno using specific break in oil, then the engine is tuned and dyno tested. You'll receive a dyno sheet showing the horsepower and torque of your specific engine as well as engine settings like lash, timing, fuel and oil used.
NOTE:Valve covers may be different than pictured. *Check series/track rules for approved applications.

I built my own engine for way. Less but it wasn't all new. But the engine hear his a really. A performance engine for these classes the only thing I,don't. Agree with is the price. A crate 604 is 4000. And the buster is 7000 something. Way bigger price needs to be comparable prices please

out in the pacific NW we have a 360 sportsman sprint class withe very similar spec rules, I wonder about running an Injector, and mag? We would not need flexplate as we bolt drive coupling to the crank, could variations be possible in cost? this motor has grat rpm and torque numbers compared to the gm motors run here, thanks
