Chevy Nova Air Intake

Why buy a cold air intake like everyone else when you can build your own?

Today’s we’re doing all the plumbing of the brakes, the fuel system, the trans cooler, but we’re most excited about the 496 big block Chevy backed up by the Powerglide transmission!

We have a full day ahead of us with the radiator core support, getting all the sheet metal back on, and wiring the engine. Check out day three of our Chevy II Nova Gasser build!

The 454 big block Chevy is still a popular build option for when there is no replacement for displacement!

Pat talks about one of our cold air intake kits from AIRAID.

To get the nose-up drag car look that we wanted for our Week to Wicked Nova project, we used one of our Gasser Axle kits. These bolt on in place of the stock front clip and instantly transform the car, making it look like it rolled right out of the 60's!

Our stock 1967 Chevy II Nova rolled into MotorTrend Group's Santa Ana Tech Center this morning and we won't sleep until it's 1960's drag strip ready!

Check out the interior restoration parts that we used for our 1967 Chevy II Nova Gasser build.

We plan to run our 1967 Chevy II Nova hard, so we picked a driveshaft that could keep up. Watch this video to learn more about custom length driveshafts from Speedway Motors.

We're wrapping up things on our Chevy II Nova Gasser build, firing it up, and making some noise around town! Check out the final day of Week to Wicked.
