Bassett 50SR210 Details

Rotating, unsprung weight is the most critical weight in a late model stock race car. Lighter wheels offer an immediate bolt-on performance advantage by lowering the moment of inertia, which boosts horsepower and improves handling. This is why Bassett created the lightest 15x10 wide-five wheel on the market - only 15.75 lbs! What's the secret to Bassett's Wide-Five wheel superiority? They use a unique wave pattern welding technique and special HSLA steel for a flatter, stronger ring center. Plus, they use our patented Cornering Fatigue Testing Apparatus. It allows them to test new designs and know they'll work BEFORE the wheel hits the track. It's the reason why a Bassett Wide-Five wheel will last 3 times longer than any other wide-five wheel on the market - even those weighing five lbs. more!NOTE: For easier tire mounting, these wheels do not have a tire safety bead.

For offroad use only. The following must be considered when using Bassett wheels for on highway/street use when the wheel/tire assembly is being balanced. Bassett wheels are lug centric, which means they are built off of, and must be balanced using, the bolt circle and NOT the wheel center hole. Improper use of a tire balancer that centers the wheel on the hub bore, not the bolt circle, will result in an incorrect reading for rim runout as the center hole is not in the perfect center of the bolt pattern. The only machine capable of performing a lug centric balance is the Hunter GSP 9700 with the flange plate bolt circle adapter and no centering cone.
