Speedway Motors 9300110S Details

These long tube stainless steel headers work with both automatic or manual transmissions in 1964-1989 Chevrolet chassis. Features 1-5/8" primary tubes, 3" collectors, and fits angled or straight plug S/B Chevy oval exhaust port heads. Built with surface machined thick steel flanges for a great seal and mandrel bent mild steel tubing. These headers are a chassis header and are meant to go inside of the frame rails on the 1965-1989 Chevrolet chassis.

Headers come with installation hardware, collector reducers, gaskets and instructions.

Verified

The headers fit the drivers side pretty well plenty of clearance around steering box and oil pan and filter was very close to the subframe. The passenger side hit the stock upper control arms I had to cut some of the flange off to get clearance not an ideal situation tubular A-arms might clear. If the tube for the #2 cylinder was pulled in towards the head 3/8" that would have been great.

They fit pretty well out of the box, but the #5 tube was very close to the steering box. Some heat and a hammer and socket and the underside of the tube was dimpled enough for comfort. Spark plugs fit without issue and they don't require short reach plugs.
