Speedway Motors 930C5H Details

If you are running our Unisteer rack & pinion, you will need these ceramic coated headers. They allow the steering shaft to pass through on the driver's side and are a shorty style for maximum ground clearance. Features 1-5/8" primaries with a 3" collector.

Tubing Thickness: 12 gauge (.103")
Header Flange Thickness: 0.30"
Exhaust Flange Thickness: 0.3760"

Fits 283-400 S/B Chevy V8s with straight plug heads.

Note: Will not fit 168 tooth flywheels or kickout aftermarket starters. Will not fit manual transmission cars with factory Z bar clutch linkage.

Armor Hot Coat® (AHC) is a heat resistant, ceramic coating applied to the outside of the header. This coating will reflect heat, which helps retain more heat within the header tube while simultaneously speeding up the exhaust flow. Not only will this coating help you make more horsepower, it also keeps your headers rust-free, looking great, and lasting longer (when properly maintained). If you are looking for a show-quality finish for your headers, this is it! Our AHC will withstand exhaust temperatures of up to 1300¢ª F.

Warranty Information

AHC Warning: AHC coatings will burn and be damaged at exhaust temperatures over 1300 degrees. A lean fuel mixture can generate exhaust temperatures exceeding 1700-1900 degrees. If the coating is damaged due to a lean condition, the coating will not be warranted, but can be recoated for a fee.

Not legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled vehicles

For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. I have a 1956 F100 with a TCI frame. I put a power rack and pinion now the exhaust will not re attach to the block hugger headers( center dump) . Will these work for this application? The truck has a Chevy column with a floor shift auto trans.
