Now you can get full-length header performance when you put a Ford V8 in your Ford street rod! These chassis headers are designed to fit 289-302 Small Block Ford V8s in 1927-1934 Ford cars and pick-ups.

Application

  1. Headers fit inside the frame rails and exit under the vehicle.
  2. Headers will clear stock, Mustang, or Vega steering boxes.
  3. Check motor mount position before ordering.
  4. Fits with side or front motor mounts.
  5. 2-1/2” collectors
  6. 1-1/2” primaries
  7. Auto Transmission: Yes

Item Details

Catalog Correction: Headers have 2-1/2", not 3" collectors.

Note: Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperature. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started, will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished back out when utilizingBlue-awayorSimi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature again, they will immediately change color.

Finally a set of long tube headers that fit with front and mid plate and engine cradle. Fix perfect, seem a good quality and price is even better. Great price point for ss headers. I tried 4 sets before i was able to find these. I was preysing the Lord out loud!

Will not fit 351W in 32 Ford frame

These are nice headers and they will fit a 289-302 in a 32 Ford frame. They will not fit a 351W in a well known manufacturers fully bracketed frame. This is probably why other manufacterers/distributors advertise headers for 289-302 and separate ones for 351W with the taller deck height..
