Wilwood 140-18160-D Forged Superlite Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18160-D is a black Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends using 12.88-inch SRP drilled and slotted rotors. It is intended for builders who want more serious rear braking along with more aggressive visual detail from the rotor package.

With four-piston calipers, BP-10 pads, and a truck parking brake hat, this kit provides balanced rear stopping power and a clean internal parking brake layout for performance street and custom truck builds.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
