Wilwood 140-18160-DR Forged Superlite Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18160-DR is the red-caliper version of the Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends. It adds red caliper styling to a strong rear brake package with 12.88-inch SRP drilled and slotted rotors and an internal parking brake setup.

This kit is a strong option for custom trucks where rear brake appearance matters as much as improved braking performance.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
