Wilwood 140-18160 Forged Superlite 4R Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18160 is a Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear parking brake kit for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends. It is designed to complement upgraded front brake systems while improving rear stopping power and preserving a clean internal parking brake arrangement.

The kit features black powder-coated four-piston radial-mount calipers, 12.88-inch GT slotted rotors, and BP-10 pads. With a minimum 17-inch wheel requirement, it is a strong rear brake upgrade for custom trucks that need more performance and better visual balance behind larger wheels.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
