Wilwood 140-18154 Forged Superlite 6R Big Front Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18154 is a Forged Narrow Superlite 6R big front brake kit for Chevrolet and GMC truck applications with factory disc spindles. It is designed to deliver a substantial increase in front braking power while remaining compatible with OE master cylinder output and ABS where used.

This kit uses black powder-coated six-piston calipers and a 12.19-inch rotor package to improve stopping confidence, thermal capacity, and overall brake performance. With a minimum 15-inch wheel requirement, it offers a strong front brake upgrade for trucks that need more braking without jumping to a much larger wheel package.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
