Wilwood 140-18154-R Forged Superlite 6R Big Front Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18154-R is a red Forged Superlite 6R big front brake kit using 12.19-inch Ultralite HPS rotors. It provides the same six-piston front braking benefits as the other 140-18154 versions but with a simpler rotor design and cleaner appearance.

This kit works well for builders who want strong front brake performance, red caliper styling, and a more understated rotor package for their Chevrolet or GMC truck application.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
