Fresh Air Systems Keep the Driver Cool and Prevent Helmet Visor Fogging
In the hot, dusty environments of a race car, a fresh air equipped helmet provides cooling ventilation to reduce driver fatigue and maintain peak performance. Fresh air systems are the best way to prevent visor fogging - more than anti-fog treatments, and have the added benefit of keeping dust and dirt out of your helmet.
The Speedway Tru Air Pumper Air Pump Blower with replacement filter kit is the perfect addition to your fresh air equipped helmet and is compatible with most large diameter fresh air ports. Adapters for small Bell style ports or low profile ports are available. Our Tru Air helmet blower pump features 2 speeds with a maximum 112 CFM cooling power on the high speed setting, ready for your 12 or 16 volt system. The blower unit can be mounted in any orientation, we recommend in an area free from heavy mud and moisture. Unit draws 3 Amps on startup, and 0.7A on high speed with 0.5A draw on low speed continuous use. Duct is 1.25" OD and 1.13" ID.
The kit includes the remote mount blower fan and filter assembly with a 4' hose. The square mounting plate bolts or rivets to your interior decking. For 2 speed usage, we recommend our Double Throw Toggle Switch (sold separately) or available as a blower unit & switch kit. Additional filter assemblies are available.

Worked awesome
Was trying to get my wife to start riding more, she always complains about the dust. This pumper kit worked perfect no more breathing dust on the long rides. Ended up buying two one for driver second for passenger rather than using a splitter. Nice to be able for both people to control their own airflow. Unit is very quiet just background noise with RZR motor off. Just finished a 5 day trip she enjoyed every ride not one complaint. Price for two pumpers was still less expensive as buying one of the competitors model.

Not what I hoped for.....
Thought this would put enough air into the helmet to help on hot days. Found out you really can't "blow air into a bottle". The helmet fits so snug to your head there is little or no place for the air flow to go and therefore you get VERY little benefit. Spent a lot of time making a sturdy custom bracket to mount it in my micro-sprint only to have the internal screws that hold the blower motor to the fan housing fail on my first day of racing. I suppose I could drill out the rivets and repair the unit but I'm not going to waste anymore time on this thing. I bought a new Zamp air-flow helmet just for this unit and still felt there was little or no benefit at the track. Sorry Speedway, I like almost everthing I ever bought from you but this one needs to be re-designed or relegated to the back room parts pile......
