Speedway Motors 9300100H Details

These compact, tight-fit headers are designed for Small Block Chevy (S/B Chevy) engines with round port heads, making them ideal for applications where space is limited. Featuring 1-1/2" primaries and a 2-1/2" collector, these block hugger headers simplify even the most challenging installations.

Armor Hot Coating (AHC) is a heat-resistant ceramic coating applied to the exterior of the header. It reflects heat back into the header tubes, helping to retain exhaust heat and improve exhaust flow. This can lead to increased horsepower, while also keeping the headers rust-free, cleaner-looking, and more durable with proper care.

This coating can withstand exhaust temperatures of up to 1300°F.

  • Designed for round port S/B Chevy cylinder heads
  • Driver side collector is approximately 2" from the pan rail
  • Passenger side collector is approximately 1/2" from the pan rail
  • Flange thickness: approximately 0.212"
  • Includes reducers, gaskets, and bolts
  • Will NOT fit angle plug heads
  • Will NOT clear 'clam shell' style motor mounts (common on 1973-up Chevy applications)

NOTE: Most tight-fit applications require shorty spark plugs for proper clearance like those offered by Accel.

AHC Warning: AHC coatings will burn and be damaged at exhaust temperatures over 1300 degrees. A lean fuel mixture can generate exhaust temperatures exceeding 1700-1900 degrees. If the coating is damaged due to a lean condition, the coating will not be warranted, but can be recoated for a fee.

Not legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled vehicles.

For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

Model A project, Good quality for the price

I purchased these for my model A ford project. I am using the speedway model A chassis with a small block 350. I needed the clearance for the steering shaft where other headers or manifolds were in the way. Good spark plug clearance. I provided photos.

They fit well and look good, no leaks even with supplied gaskets (usually prefer different kind but I took a chance). I liked that the supplied bolts had a small head for easier install in a tight area, but the size was a little off, just a little small, so I was worried that I would strip them if I ever had to reef on them. Used anti-sieze and tightened to 15 lbs.
