Tubular Mustang II Control Arms Update and Strengthen Your IFS Installation
The Mustang 2 frontend needs no introduction to most enthusiasts. This compact IFS suspension kit has been used to update straight axle hot rods and provide more engine swap room in muscle cars for decades. Originally the installation used a stock Mustang II crossmember, control arms, and associated parts. Over time custom direct application Mustang II crossmembers were brought to market to make the swap easier. Later, Mustang II tubular control arms would be offered to provide increased strength, modern looks, and increased wheel and tire fitment.
Whether you’re building a Mustang II frontend setup piece by piece or updating an older installation that uses factory style stamped steel upper control arms, our Mustang II tubular control arms are the perfect upgrade. Built from jig welded 1-inch OD steel tubing with .120-inch wall thickness, they feature a screw in ball joint for easy servicing (versus the riveted in ball joints of the stamped steel upper arms) along with “no squeak” cross shaft bushings. Buy them for looks or buy them for strength (or both!) but our tubular Mustang II control arms are the best option for updating your current Mustang II IFS or building out a new Mustang II frontend kit.

Tubular control arm saved the day
The stock Mustang II control arms would not work in my application. I ordered the tubular arms they arrived in a few days and they gave me the clearance I was looking for. As usual Speedways product was exactly what I needed. I have never been disappointed with anything purchased from Speedway.
