Tubular Mustang II Control Arms Update and Strengthen Your IFS Installation

The Mustang 2 frontend needs no introduction to most enthusiasts. This compact IFS suspension kit has been used to update straight axle hot rods and provide more engine swap room in muscle cars for decades. Originally the installation used a stock Mustang II crossmember, control arms, and associated parts. Over time custom direct application Mustang II crossmembers were brought to market to make the swap easier. Later, Mustang II tubular control arms would be offered to provide increased strength, modern looks, and increased wheel and tire fitment.

Built from jig welded 1-inch OD steel tubing with .120-inch wall thickness, they feature a screw in ball joint for easy servicing (versus the riveted in ball joints of the stamped steel upper arms) along with “no squeak” cross shaft bushings.
