Performance Under Pressure, Lap After Lap, Mile After Mile

Our line of universal crossflow aluminum Chevy radiators makes it easy for budget-minded racers to get a professional-quality, no compromises aluminum racing radiator. Constructed of lightweight, 100 percent aluminum, each radiator assembly is fully furnace brazed for maximum durability and performance. Unlike lower cost or OEM radiators, there are no epoxy and gaskets used in the radiator’s construction here! Epoxy acts as an insulator, causing radiators to heat unevenly, and this stress combined with the vibration from racing can cause epoxy seals to crack and leak or separate over time. Furnace brazing minimizes fatigue from the rapid heating and cooling cycles. Since all the metal parts are fused together with a metal joint, they conduct heat evenly between the tanks and the rest of the assembly, preventing uneven expansion between the fused pieces, keeping the joint strong. Fully furnace brazed construction also means no crimped on end tanks with an O-ring seal to fail that can put you out of the race or on a flatbed ride home.

We welded a CNC machined billet filler neck to our radiator’s end tank for a strong seal under high pressures that will outperform cast filler necks. The billet filler neck is designed with an industry standard 1-5/8-inch inner cap diameter so that you can use any off the shelf radiator cap with the pressure rating you need for racing or street use (yes, these radiators work great for engine swaps, custom builds, and more for street use applications). An 1/8-inch NPT overflow port is machined into the billet filler neck to accommodate the included 1/4-inch hose barb fitting included. This port can be used for a simple overflow tank for racing, or a more street friendly recirculating recovery tank system.

Maximum Cooling Ability for Your Race Car, Street Car, or Muscle Truck

Our single pass design uses two rows of 1-inch wide aluminum tubes which have more surface area than similar design copper radiators, cooling the same as five rows of copper tubes. A dense fin structure adds an additional layer of strength to the support tubes, better directs air flow through the core, and has more surface area to transfer and shed heat. The core is 2.25 inches thick, a perfect balance of maximizing directed airflow and heat transfer. The crossflow design allows the radiator cap to be mounted on the low-pressure (suction) side of the system, minimizing pressure on the neck assembly, especially in high-RPM usage. This radiator is built for one purpose, cooling your engine. No internal transmission cooler maximizes cooling efficiency. Mounting an external transmission cooler will be necessary for automatic equipped cars and trucks.

Multiple Widths Available Means We Have a Radiator That Fits Your Ford or Mopar V8

Our universal radiator isn’t made for any one specific car or truck, but we offer options to make it fit your race car or custom project. Since we didn’t add mounting brackets, this means you can easily adapt our radiator to any build. We feature widths (measured outside tank-to-outside tank) of 22-, 24-, 26-, 28-, or 31-inches and all are 19 inches tall. We offer universal insulated mounting brackets in steel and aluminum which support or clamp to the tanks top and bottom, as well as shrouds for electric and mechanical fans, or pre-made single fan/shroud kits and dual fan/shroud kits This radiator features the traditional Ford/Mopar hose fitting configuration with a 1.5-inch passenger side upper inlet, and 1.75-inch driver side lower outlet.

Aluminum Fan Shroud Kits available:

  • For 22" radiator, fan shroud kit # 917-4020
  • For 24" radiator, fan shroud kit # 917-4024
  • For 26" radiator, fan shroud kit # 917-4021
  • For 28" radiator, fan shroud kit # 917-4022
  • For 31" radiator, fan shroud kit # 917-4023

Aluminum Electric Fan Shroud Kits available:

  • Single fan kit for 22, 24, 26, 28, 31, and 33" radiator # 917-5021
  • Double fan kit for 28, 31, and 33" radiator # 917-5022

I just got it and have to tig a new inle

I ordered too wide a radiator initially. I could not be more pleased with your return process. Lost about a week due to my error. Not bad considering the distance between you & me. It would have been better to know the inlet angled in toward the center of the radiator. I have to have the inlet rotated 180 degrees and TIG welded back to work in my application. The TIG welding MAY cost more than the radiator did!

fit, cooled fine, a year later, leaks...

tank started leaking 16 monhts later. new engine, running DEXCOOL, zero rust or corrosion. tank is mounted in a silicone-foam lined bracket. it remains in place without vibration, semi-flexible so that any chassis flex won't crack it, and as a bonus it's electrically isolated so zero electrochemical corrosion. absolutely zero dents nicks or scrapes. covered front and back with honeycomb nomex. it seems to be leaking where the tubes are welded to the drivers side (outlet) tank, a few inches down from the top. hard to precisely locate. impossible to repair. not blaming anyone. it's 16 months old now. gotta buy another i guess. not happy.
