Nostalgia-style street rods are hotter than ever, and nothing gives your vintage rod that authentic dry lakes competition look like a set of lakester headers. These small-block Ford lake style headers work great on early hoodless and fenderless rods like T-buckets, Model A's, and 1932-1934 Fords. Each lakester header has vertical flanges so you can connect it to a muffled under-car exhaust when the end plate is on.

Overall Assessment

Customers value the product for its perfect fit and exceptional finish, catering to models like the '26 T with a 302 and T Bucket 351 W. The headers offer good clearance and have a well-built, aesthetically pleasing design. Users insist on the importance of using supplied gaskets over stock ones for optimum performance and avoiding leaks. Some found the flange bolts slightly short for lock washers but resolved the issue by tightening securely. Despite minor considerations, customers found the product to be of good value, with many expressing a willingness to repurchase, emphasizing the product's competitive edge.

These headers fit my T Bucket 351 W perfect. I did find out that you have to use the supplied gaskets and not the stock gaskets or you will have a leak. Sounds good and looks good. The cap plates are easy to remove. The flange bolts were a little short for the lock washers to fit, but I just made sure they were really tight. Over all a good value. I would buy a set again.
