If you are looking for that "up in the front" gasser look or just need a straight axle, weve got your deal! We can supply you a complete semi-elliptical straight axle front end kit with springs and hardware. Designed for use with Speedway 1949-54 Chevy-style passenger car spindles.
Plain steel, universal application, professionally engineered. The spring pads are adjustable on the axle for different frame widths (welding required). Choose axle length from kingpin to kingpin, or order a custom length.
Kit includes:
- tube axle w/ welded ends (0.250" wall tubing)
- two axle pads and U-bolts
- two 1-3/4" spring shackles w/ nylon bushings
- two frame mounting brackets
- two 32" six-leaf springs
- all hardware

Bought the Speedway gasser straight axle kit for my '46 Austin gasser, and was extremely pleased with the complete kit. I had a couple small bolts that were missing, and even though it was 6 months since I made the initial purchase, Speedway customer service sent me out the parts right away, with no hassles! Very nice workmanship, and complete right down to every nut, bolt, and grease caps. Very impressive for a reasonable price. Only thing I can say negative is the shackles seemed a tiny bit lighter than I would expect.
