Speedway Motors 91639034 Details
Black steel, universal application, professionally engineered. Spring pads to be welded to the axle by the builder and are therefore adjustable on the axle for different frame widths. For 1949-54 Chevy style spindles.
Kit includes:
- 48" double bend tube axle w/ welded ends (0.250" wall tubing)
- two axle pads and U-bolts
- two 1-3/4" spring shackles w/ nylon bushings
- two frame mounting brackets
- two 32" 6-leaf springs
- all hardware

I'm building a 34 chevy pickup. Original front axle is about 55" wide. I am thinking of using your 91639034 axle kit with 9133901-4 3/4 steer/brake kit. Will this work for me is it wide enough for my frame. thanks Jon

Can you recommend a disc brake kit for this axle kit? I plan on putting this axle kit onto a 57 Chevy 2 door Bel Air hardtop (+3300 lbs). What disc brake kit will give me the best stopping power? The car has rear drum brakes also.
