Wilwood 140-18160-R Forged Superlite Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18160-R is a red Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear parking brake kit using 12.88-inch GT slotted rotors for 1988-1998 C1500 rear ends. It provides the same improved rear braking and parking brake capability as the drilled version, but with GT slotted rotors for a cleaner look.

This version is ideal for builders wanting red calipers and strong rear stopping performance without the drilled rotor style.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
