Wilwood 140-18154-DR Forged Superlite 6R Big Front Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18154-DR is the red-caliper version of the 12.19-inch Forged Superlite 6R big front brake kit for Chevrolet and GMC trucks. It combines six-piston red calipers with SRP drilled and slotted rotors to provide upgraded front braking performance and stronger visual impact.

This version is a great match for custom trucks and street builds where the brake package is visible and intended to contribute to the overall look of the vehicle.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
