Wilwood 140-18151-R Forged Superlite Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18151-R is a red Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear parking brake kit that uses 12.88-inch GT slotted rotors instead of SRP drilled and slotted rotors. It gives builders a cleaner slotted rotor style while still delivering strong rear braking and the visual punch of red powder-coated calipers.

Its internal shoe parking brake system keeps the installation neat and functional, making it a practical and attractive upgrade for muscle cars and custom performance builds.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
