Wilwood 140-18151-DR Forged Superlite Big Rear Parking Brake Kit

Wilwood 140-18151-DR is the red-caliper version of the Forged Narrow Superlite 4R big rear parking brake kit for Big Ford New Style rear ends. It combines red four-piston calipers with 12.88-inch SRP drilled and slotted rotors for strong braking and a more aggressive custom appearance.

This kit preserves the hidden internal parking brake setup while adding a brighter, more visible brake package. It is a good match for show builds, pro-touring cars, and other applications where style matters as much as stopping performance.

Our rotors are machined and fully e-coated, just like the rotor hats. This is a protectant coating the prohibits surface rust from forming on the exposed surfaces. Once the parts are installed and being bedded in, the brake pad friction and caliper pressure will remove the coating at the spot the brake pads touch. This will expose the silver iron material underneath.
