Return PolicyThe Turbosmart TS-1 7880 Performance Turbocharger is a high-capacity, oil-cooled turbocharger engineered for serious horsepower applications. Designed using advanced materials, CFD-optimized aerodynamics, and lightweight components, the TS-1 series delivers exceptional transient response while maintaining the airflow and durability required for competitive motorsports and extreme street performance builds. Its externally wastegated V-band configuration allows for precise boost control and flexible installation options.
At the core of the TS-1 7880 is a 78mm compressor inducer paired with an 80mm turbine exducer and a 0.96 A/R turbine housing. The turbocharger utilizes aggressive 7+7 forged 2618 aluminum compressor wheel technology, a 713C Inconel turbine wheel, and a proprietary dual ceramic bearing system to maximize spool characteristics, efficiency, and durability. These features help support an impressive power range of approximately 1,140 to 1,350 horsepower, making it ideal for high-boost drag racing, roll racing, and other demanding performance applications.
Constructed with lightweight 310S stainless-steel investment-cast turbine housings and aluminum compressor covers, the TS-1 7880 is built to withstand extreme exhaust gas temperatures while minimizing unnecessary weight. Each turbocharger includes installation essentials such as V-band clamps, weld flanges, and oil drain hardware, providing a comprehensive package for custom turbo system fabrication.
