The Turbosmart GenV Electronic PowerGate60 (eWG60) is a fully electronic 60mm external wastegate engineered for extreme turbocharged applications requiring maximum exhaust flow and the most advanced boost control available. Built on the proven GenV PowerGate60 architecture, the eWG60 combines the industry's highest-flowing poppet-style wastegate design with a patent-pending electronic actuator system, eliminating the limitations of traditional pneumatic wastegates.

Unlike conventional wastegates that rely on springs, vacuum hoses, and boost-referene signals, the eWG60 utilizes direct electronic control for precise wastegate positioning and boost management. This allows tuners to command virtually any boost level their turbo system can support without being constrained by base spring pressures or pneumatic control limitations. Control strategies can be implemented through compatible ECUs with dual half-bridge outputs or through the Turbosmart BlackBox Electronic Wastegate Controller for advanced standalone operation.
