The Turbosmart GenV Electronic HyperGate45 (eWG45) is a next-generation 45mm electronic external wastegate that eliminates the limitations of traditional pneumatic wastegate systems. Built upon the proven GenV HyperGate45 architecture, the eWG45 features a fully electronic actuator that provides precise boost control without springs, boost reference hoses, or conventional pressure-control hardware. This allows tuners to control boost levels directly through the ECU or compatible controller for unmatched flexibility and accuracy.
The eWG45 retains the class-leading flow capacity and thermal performance of the GenV HyperGate45 platform while introducing Turbosmart's patent-pending electronic actuator technology. With no minimum boost level restrictions from spring pressure and no boost-reference hose issues, users can create highly advanced boost-control strategies through their tuning software. The wastegate is compatible with dual half-bridge ECU outputs and can also be controlled using the Turbosmart BlackBox Electronic Wastegate Controller when dedicated electronic wastegate outputs are unavailable.
