The Tremec TUET18131 Magnum XL T56 6-Speed Transmission is a high-performance aftermarket upgrade derived from the legendary TR-6060, used as factory equipment in many modern Detroit muscle and sports cars. Designed specifically for late-model GM applications, the Magnum XL features an extended-length tail housing that relocates the shifter over 8 inches rearward, making it ideal for vehicles equipped with factory semi-remote shifter systems.

Unlike factory semi-remote designs that reduce shift precision in exchange for vibration dampening, the Magnum XL utilizes a rigid direct-mount shifter with a proprietary shift isolator. This provides an optimal balance of refined NVH control and crisp, precise gear engagement for both street and performance driving.
