If you've got spherical rod ends on your vehicle, you'll probably need jam nuts. You might also need them for tie-rod ends or other types of fittings and connectors. Our jam nuts are made from premium steel (zinc-coated for corrosion prevention), and they're available with either right hand or left hand threads.

I needed to change the bushings on the strut rods of my 1963 Falcon Sprint but couldn't finish the job because the old nuts resisted every effort to remove them and I didn't want to damage the threads. I had to cut and split the old ones ,so there was no turning back. I hunted everywhere including the usual fastener supply places but no joy. Then I found these at Speedway. I couldn't believe it but they arrived quick and fit just fine. Everything bolted up and have had no trouble since. They truly are like gold.
