Return PolicyIf you've got spherical rod ends on your vehicle, you'll probably need jam nuts. You might also need them for tie-rod ends or other types of fittings and connectors. Our jam nuts are made from premium steel (zinc-coated for corrosion prevention), and they're available with either right hand or left hand threads.
These steel fine thread jam nuts are for use with rod ends, heim joints, and clevis.

I'm using these in a linkage assembly but they'll work well any time a heim joint is used.

Most people go for right hand when it comes to how we twist our nuts, but in certain circumstances you need to twist them the other way. It took me a bit of getting used to, given that I've been going with the right hand method since I was a young man.

If you have a need to make an a-arm slightly longer weld one on and there is no re-threading of steel. Weld and go racing
