Problem Solved!

I had been tracking down a wobble in the front end of my I-beam equipped rod for months, and after replacing part after part the wobble was still there. I remember my Dad talking about how he had to replace king pins and bushings back in the day and took the plunge. I was rather concerned about my ability to do this work myself but had to try because of budget. I was pleasantly surprised when the parts arrived with complete instructions included, and with a little help from the internet I was able to hone the bushings myself and got a perfect fit. The wobble is gone and I can finally enjoy driving the car without fear of being shook out of the seat. Great product and great people to deal with. Thanks Speedway for an enjoyable ride again!

Not for original spindles

If you are using your original spindles that have the steering knuckle attached to them (not bolted on like aftermarket) then be ready to put your own retention slot in to match up with the bolts that keep them forming back up. I Also had to sand/hone out a LOT of my bushings to get them to drop in and not seize up my steering. If you are planning on doing a whole spindle swap then YES these would be great and mount right in (possibly sanding still on your front axle spindle housing)

when installing the retaining pin it only pulls half way in. I know it is tapered but shouldn't it pull in farther? the kingpin groove seems line up correctly.
