no replacement parts for this kit Deluxe Kingpins set 1937-4
Though I messed a bearing up and came to found out that Speedway does not sell any of this kit separate and after hours of research nobody else has the needle bearings required in the kit. Fortunately one of our club members had some extra bearings and I was able to get one from him. I know I can not be the only person that has ever messed up one of these bearings.

Like the needle bearing design, but they must be greased before installing, or they will fall out when installing. The instructions do not mention this at all. Also with the spacing between the bearings, you can use the original grease Zerk locations. If you change the brake system, like your bendix system, you can not use the lower grease zerk location on the king pin. The brake backing plate is in the way.

Ok so setup is a little bit more but omg it's totally worth it. Just read the directions and follow them. If you don't you will be sorry. This setup is so smooth it feels like power steering lol.

Once I figured out that loading the bearing cups with grease before installing the kingpin, the second side was a breeze.Be careful with the needle bearings.

This kit is light years ahead of old school bushings. Just follow the instructions and you will succeed in having easier steering and long service life. Be sure to pack the needle bearings with a heavy grease prior to driving them in your spindles, it will keep the needles from falling out. I have to say, Speedway's service is second to none. Two of the needle bearings I received were missing some needles and the plastic retaining sleeves. It was obviously a manufacturing defect as the sealed bag they came in was still sealed, so I know I wasn't sold a returned product. One call to Speedway and they made things more than right, I had everything I needed in a matter of a couple days. Thank you Speedway for taking such good care of your customers!

More could be said about bearing - the needle bearings, not the bigger shoulder bearings - placement. Also, the ability to shim above and below the axle boss would help with tie rod/steering arm/batwing clearance. Great machining and adaptable kit designed to fit the many minor differences in these spindle and straight axle parts. Easy to do, once you do one. I'd buy again.

I had replaced the kingpins on my 37 ford, I thought that was ok. I wanted to keep the stock column, banjos wheel ant I love the headlights control in the steering wheel so There was no chance of adding power steering to my car. I took a chance on this expensive king pin set. AND ITS LIKE POWER STEERING! I'm 72 years old and I added a steering knob for one hand turns, I love it!

The instructions state that the thrust bearing should be installed with lettered side up. The bearing has no lettering on it. The bearing has a machined surface on one side and a stamped cup on the other, which side goes up? Great product!! Wayne

When using this set with brake kit 91065420 on a 4' drop axle I cannot find a grease zerk that protrudes enough to allow a grease fitting to grease the lower zerk without removing the brake backing plate. Is there a longer serk available, is so where can it be found?

Lock pin I got the 4" drop tube axle 91035114 and there is no lock pin hole just a set screw on side of axle for the kingpin, did I miss something or does instructions need to be updated to reflect? What's the proper way to lock it in this case?
