Overall Assessment

Customers frequently praise the fuel tank for its excellent build quality and practical fit for various classic car models. They commend its easy installation and versatile usability in a variety of vehicles such as off-road buggies, hot rods, rv generators, and even boats. Users report that the fuel tank works well with electric fuel pumps mounted lower for gravity assistance. However, customers suggested that the tank should come with a bigger fuel outlet fitting and ability to mount fuel sender. Some also mentioned slight issues with ventilation and inclusion of hose connections. Despite minor drawbacks like surface scratches, customers found the product to be a great value for the price, recommending it for future projects and purchasing it repeatedly. They found the retro look appealing and appreciated the included mounting brackets. Despite minor improvements, overall client satisfaction remains high due to the tank's robust performance and aesthetically pleasing design.

No ventilation

Looks great, easy mounting and well built. BUT after a 30 minute test drive my hot rod started to run real bad. Popping out of the exhaust, and no power. Felt like it suddenly got no fuel so I pulled over to check the fuel level, but I couldn't get the cap off. I used a screwdriver to lift the cap rubber gasket, and it was like opening a 11 gallon coke. PSSHHHHHH! Lucky this didn't ruin the engine.

can a spun aluminum tank be used in a jeep wrangler? I have a 93 wrangler yj with 4L inline 6 engine, and im wanting to replace the old plastic fuel tank with something more sturdy, while also clearing up space underneath where the tank currently sits. Ive been looking at your fuel tanks and was wondering if they will work with my engine. Ive found a lack of information online, and hoping you will have the answer to my question.
