Good product, installation difficulty
A solid product. A bit loud but we'll see on the road. Downside, the inlet and outlet are 16 g steel. Quite a bit oversized so a loose fit. Can't be tightened with standard exhaust clamps and the joints needed to be tack welded to prevent separation and rotation. Not great for your average mechanic. Have purchased Speedway for 30 years so a bit disappointed. A recommendation with reservations.

Great sounding mufflers.
Love the sound these muffs make on my 383 Chev., however, the black coating is rusting in only 4 months and < 4,000 miles. Will need to sand and paint, except they're mounted on their sides, close together on my truck.

Is this muffler loud at idle and have a very deep growling tone sound? Im looking for a muffler that is some what loud at idle and on acceleration as well as having that deep growling sound. Can you recommend a muffler for my sbc 350 mild cam with long tube headers?
