Speedway Motors 9301006 Details

Looking for a great sounding muffler that won't break the bank? Speedway Welded Chamber mufflers offer many high-end features at a budget price. These 2-chamber mufflers provide an agressive exterior tone while eliminating the interior "drone" found in single baffle designs. Plus, the twin baffle design creates a scavenging effect to help pull the exhaust through the muffler, increasing horspower and torque. They feature a fully welded steel case with no internal packing to burn up or blow out. Quality materials and construction combined with a black hi-temp coating ensures long life and durability.

Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate this product for its excellent sound quality, producing a deep rumble that's noticeable but not overly loud. Users found the balance between sound and loudness perfect, implying a successful search after trying out different sets of mufflers. They appreciate its sturdy construction and nice coating, which contributes to the superior build quality. Some customers experienced issues with the slightly large inlet/outlet diameters, yet the overall satisfaction led them to consider permanent solutions such as welding. The mufflers are highly regarded for their enhanced sound when installed and have been compared positively to stock mufflers. Users believe further modifications, such as replacing resonators, can make it even better.

Wow. Super impressed with these. I have gone through 4 sets of mufflers looking for the right balance of sound and loudness levels. Theses are perfect for me. Nice, deep rumble and not too loud, but is definitely noticed. Build quality is nice also. My only gripe is that the inlet/outlet inside diameter was slightly too large. I really had to crank down the clamps to get them to seal, and even then, still loose. Switched to lap band clamps to fix this issue. Might weld them on later since I like them so much.
