Or maybe you’re just looking for a low cost performance upgrade that will give you the performance you’re looking for without the big budget engine build. Whatever the reason, turbocharging has become one of the most popular ways to increase an engine’s horsepower output anywhere from 50 percent or more. Often, with a few supporting components, it isn’t unheard of to make 800 hp or more at the tire with a large single turbo or smaller twin turbos. All you have to do is hit the local cruise night, cars & coffee, or dragstrip to see any number of vehicles, many of them turbo LS swapped, with the turbo hanging off the front of the engine making respectable power.
There are a lot of junk and cheap turbos on the market when it comes to cost effective turbo charging, and we know you work hard for every dollar in your project car budget. This is why Speedway Motors is now offering an extremely budget friendly line of turbo offerings that leaves plenty of change in your budget for supplemental parts such as intercoolers, blow off valves, wastegates, and more for the rest of your turbo build project.
We all know that when it comes to performance automotive products, you often get what you pay for, especially when people start talking cheap turbos. If the deal is too good to be true it usually is. Don’t let the great price on our line of turbos give you pause, these turbos are designed to handle your street performance build and can even handle the rigors of autocross, drag racing, and other applications. For those of you with smaller displacement engines, including inline-fours or inline-sixes, V6s, or even small V8s (turbocharged Flathead anyone?) this T3/T4 turbo is a great choice, providing plenty of boost to dramatically increase your engine’s horsepower output.
This 57mm T3/T4 turbo features a fully machined cast iron turbine housing that uses a standard T3 turbo flange inlet and 5-bolt outlet designed for an integral wastegate setup. Or you can bolt on a 5-bolt adapter flange to allow the plumbing of an external wastegate. Fitted between the cast aluminum compressor housing is an oil cooled journal bearing center housing assembly. The cast aluminum compressor housing comes as a 3-inch inlet and 2-inch outlet. Overall size means this turbo will fit in places many larger turbos will not, providing excellent under hood packaging.
The T3 turbo exhaust inlet flange means the turbo will easily mount with a standard T3 style flange, while the 5-bolt turbine outlet will require a bolt on integral wastegate or an external wastegate adapter. The compressor inlet and outlet are slip-on connections that use hose couplers and T-bolt style clamps. The compressor side of the turbo uses 2-inch tubing to plumb the outlet to your engine while the compressor inlet will use 3-inch tubing or a direct-mount air filter. The 57/55 turbo size makes great power on most smaller displacement engines, such as inline fours, and inline or V6 engines or small V8s. This is the perfect small engine turbo for a 4 cylinder turbo build that will surprise many enthusiasts. Spool up is quick with the .63 A/R turbine housing and cast compressor wheel.

Start with our selection of turbo oil feed and drain lines, offering everything you need to plumb your engine’s pressurized oil to the turbo’s center housing assembly and back to the engine’s oil pan. At the oil pan you’ll need to add an AN -10 weld on bung.
Lastly, we have everything you need to build out your hot side and cold side systems, including exhaust flanges for numerous applications, and various diameters of header tubing to build your hot side. While air intake tubing, air filters, and intercooler piping are available to finish your cold side build. In summary, when finances are a concern, you can still make great power with a small displacement engine when you add boost with a great budget T3 turbo from Speedway Motors.

Bought this to install on my '93 Accord. Unfortunatly it showed up damaged and I'm still waiting 6 days later for a responce from the sales team. Bearring was froze soild out the box.

Spools quick! I used this on my miata track car. Currently running 8psi of boost with this turbo. I have turned it up to 15psi and it held great! Quality is bar none to my older ebay unit that is now in the trash 🗑
